Bloor West Village Dental Care

I used to HATE going to the dentist! But then I met Dr. Ileana Matiu at Bloor West Village Dental Care. I recently had a couple of fillings done and must say that having needles is not my favourite thing. Dr. Ileana has such a gentle touch, that I didn't even realize she had frozen my teeth! Her meticulis attention to detail resulted in 2 beautiful fillings with no discomfort whatsoever.

I've been seeing Dr. Matiu since she opened her doors and can honestly say she's the best dentist I've ever been to. She takes the time to explain what she's doing and is always gentle and never rushed. Her hygienists are also very thorough - every time I get my teeth cleaned I always get comments on how white they look!

Bloor West Village Dental Care is awesome and Dr. Ileana Matiu is one of the best dentists I have ever had. Always professional, always on time, polite and courteous. My 8 yrs. old daughter used to be terrified of going to see a dentist before, but not anymore. She recently had 4 fillings done (during 2 visits) and started to ask me when her next appointment with Dr. Matiu is. Cannot tell enough people how great this dental office is. I will never, never ever change it!

The dental care offered by Dr. Matiu and her staff is outstanding. The office staff are pleasant and efficient, the hygenists thorough and Dr. Matiu herself is extemely caring and professional. While the office can offer the latest dental advancements, there is no attempt to upsell purely cosmetic procedures. Although I no longer live in Toronto, I continue to come to Bloor West Village Dental Care, since I am completely confident in them.

I am taking my 82 yr old father here for complications with his teeth, including bridges and implants, least of all stains. Dr. Matiu is so incredibly patient and considerate, gentle and calming, my father absolutely adores her! He cannot say enough about how highly he regards her attention to detail and professionalism. I myself cannot believe the miracle she performed in cleaning his teeth to a whiteness I wouldn't have thought possible. I am considering changing dentists, she is that good.

I have been going here for cleanings for the past few years and have been extremely happy with the professionalism, friendliness of the staff and quality of their work. I recently had Dr. Matiu correct bonding to my front teeth and I am so happy with the results! She made me feel at ease during the procedure, was extremely gentle and the quality of her work is top notch. I would recommend this clinic to any and everyone!

I am a patient of Dr. Ileana Matiu for 1 year and am very impressed by the excellent care that I received at her office, both for cavities treatment and for cleaning. Dr. Matiu clearly explained what needs to be done for each cavity and did an excellent and totally painless job for each affected tooth. The hygienist also had a very light hand, compared with my experience at my former dentist. I highly recommend Dr.Matiu.
